Polymesh

Polymesh is intended to assist in the repair and/or reinforcement of hernia and other fascial defects requiring the additional support of a nonabsorbable mesh during and after wound healing. Polymesh is a nonabsorbable, inert, sterile, porous surgical mesh knitted from monofilament fibers of polypropylene.

Polymesh exhibits high burst strength and tensile strength.Polymesh is knitted in such fashion as to interconnect each monofilament fiber and provide bi-directional elasticity, while allowing the mesh to be cut to any shape without unraveling.

  • Abdominal wall reinforcement
  • Treatments of inguinal, ventral, femoral hernias
  • Knitted structure
  • Polypropylene monofilament
  • Use in either celioscopy or laparotomy
  • Elasticity and excellent multidirectional mechanical properties close to human tissue
  • Excellent biocompatibility
  • Perfect shape memory for optimal handling.
